Clitheroe has a plethora of Specialist shops. These include Cheesy Tchaikovsky, a cheese specialist, Byrnes, a cavern of wine and Seven which has very expensive and trendy clothes. The nearest City is Manchester which can be reached in 45 minutes on the train. Manchester is an extremely vibrant city which is well worth a visit not only for the shopping but for all the tourist attractions, including museums, theatres and a well-established music scene.
