Directions

For more detailed directions to York House B&B, the AA website is extremely useful. Maps can be retrieved and very clear and concise directions are given from wherever you are starting your journey. However here is a general description of how to find us.

• Leave the M6 at junction 31. Take the fourth exit at the roundabout on to the A59 (Signposted to Blackburn and Clitheroe).
• Follow the A59 and signs for Clitheroe for about 15 minutes.
• Eventually you will reach a roundabout where you need to take the first exit on to the A671 (Signposted to Clitheroe)
• Continue on to Whalley Road (A671).
• Bear left on to Moor Lane (B6243).
• At the mini Roundabout continue forward on to Moor Lane (B6243).
• This will take you through the main shopping area.
• Bear right at the gates to the castle.
• At the town clock the road becomes York St.
• We are opposite Clitheroe Grammar Sixth Form College.
