Clitheroe Golf Club is a prestigious 18 hole golf course and has a standard scratch of 71 and a length of 6,323 yards. It was designed by James Braid in 1932. Many County matches are hosted at Clitheroe. The club has also been chosen for the English Golf Union’s County Champions’ Tournament and the English Ladies National “Under 26” Championship.

Other courses around the area are situated at Stonyhurst, Whalley and Great Harwood.
